Attached a screenshot of the message.

I have no idea what went wrong, because I played the game on the same version without a crash the day before.
If I had to change a value in a file, that wouldnt be problem, but I would have to know what value it should be changed to.

Awesome patch nonetheless, I really enjoy all the new stuff.

same crash, same loading distance.

Can you try to open Factorio properties in Steam library and use button "Verify integrity of game files"

Also please open %APPDATA%\Factorio (hit Win + R on keyboard, enter %APPDATA%\Factorio and click OK) and post here factorio-current.log.

"Verify integrity of game files" did it. The program reordered 3 files new and I could start the game successfully.

If you still need the report, tell me again. I couldnt see any entry regarding steam or factorio in it but a lot of other junk from my system.
