1. What did you do?
Create an offshore pump and connected a boiler to it (to the water connections)
2. What happened?
I discovered I could walk between the offshore pump and the boiler. The graphics overlay with my character's sprite as I pass through the space.
3. What did you expect to happen?
I expected to be blocked and have to move around the pump/boiler system.

Apologies if this was an intended feature in the new patch, I did not see it in the change log and the graphical overlap suggested it was not intentional (as I'm basically clipping through the boiler/pipe). I tested with all four orientations of the offshore pump and boiler connection and was able to move through easily.

As a quick followup, I also tested and confirmed that two boilers connected directly to each other also have the same issue (you can walk between them despite the connected pipes). Adding a pipe between the boilers however causes the expected behavior (I am prevented from passing through the boilers/pipe and have to move around).

Confirmed. Boiler have slightly smaller collision box.

That's by design. Changing the bounding box size of an entity that large is not a safe thing to do so they're left as they are by default.
