Linux to Win save move

Have been playing for a little bit 150ish hrs on linux laptop.
Now i have new PC with windows and was looking forward playing .15.

Is there a way to import linux save to Win so I can play till .15 come out.
Have to be on call and home all weekend and would help with work of course .

Saves are cross compatible, so just copy and paste, transfer via internet, dropbox, USB, burn it to a CD, floppy disk etc.

It did not work for me yesterday but it might just be user error.
