Setup File is Corrupted (can't even download the game)

Setup File is Corrupted (can't even download the game)

So I just bought Factorio today and I was expecting to be able to play it quite soon however when I download the setup from my browser and try to run it, it says "The setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the program." Now I don't know what i did wrong, I made sure i downloaded the windows version and I looked at the recommended PC specs and there isn't anything there that I do not have. I would appreciate any help that anyone can provide me... I just want to get into this game it looks incredibly fun.

Hello, did you try to download and run the setup again? I have checked both 64bit and 32bit version for Windows and it works for me. I think the setup file got corrupted on download.

You can also download ZIP package, extract it and play without installation.
