Examples for trains not using all spots of a station.

This thread is for collecting examples for the following type of station deadlock:

- A station with multiple same-name stops.
- Multiple trains coming in.
- Some of the trains wait in front of the station despite there being empty spots because they want to go to a different spots that's not free.

TL;DR: Trains unnessecarily waiting on stations with empty spots.

Small savegame files are prefered. (I.e. not megabases).

Known problem, reported a couple of times already. There are some workarounds with wires though.

Yes but it's a problem I want to try to fix if possible. But I first want a good save file that shows the problem and will show the ramifications of any changes I try to make.

Glad to hear you're looking into addressing this issue. I myself haven't had this problem yet as I don't have too many trains serving the same name stations in any of my saves yet, but I know folks on these boards have encountered it.

The examples you gave don't reproduce the problem(s) I was referring to. Every time a train tries to path to a stop in your save it always picks one that doesn't have a train (which is correct).

... nice jam here. As you see the trains wait here in front of a depot (this map uses LTN mod), even there are some other free, but they seem to be too far away. (?)

The world is quite big (about 5x5 kilometers)! Not all mods are needed. Really needed is only LTN; the radar-tracker mod is quite useful, cause I havn't placed much radars.
