The save was played earler today and saved correctly
error when going on to the save

I had a similar issue, said my file was too big, however when i went into the file location, the save file was approximately half of several other saves (all of which loaded just fine). I've since saved over it because i had a close autosave. I have a new issue where all of my achievements are gone and every time i load the game, none of my settings are saved. Running the same version as OP.

I think that 30 MB is not too big, it's only around 5-10 hours in multiplayer.

It is not about the file size, it is the result when loading the save that is too big.

Do you have an older save of the map that still loads?

If a developer finds the time to look into your save, there is a good chance that he can restore the file, but it could take a while, so I would not wait for it. .15 will contain fixes for several corruption issues but they will not work retroactively.
Generally it is advisable to keep several saves of the same game to prevent complete loss.

75% of the content of the file are just zero bytes, there is no way to recover the save from that. I am sorry.

Delete achievements.dat, player-data.json and config folder in %APPDATA%\Factorio\. But before you do, can you upload achievements.dat here?
