That seems about normal: 2 hours of battery while playing a game.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Newer notebooks always run longer, because the battery is new. Old notebooks cannot run a game without external power.

There is no newer or faster one then my MacBook Pro - Apple advertised at least a full working day runtime with one battery load.
Not with Factorio thought.

Advertised is the key word.

Almost any battery life time is not advertised with significant load. It would be usually with something light being done on device not a game.

full working day runtime with one battery load is for normal usage, means technically reading mails, viewing web, writing documents and spreadsheets.

nobody advertises how long notebook lasts on battery when playing games, or Blueray/HD quality movie. because those clock your cpu high and utilize gpu a lot.
so while in idle or under low load, your notebook might have like 30-40W consumption (because it will also use CPU integrated graphic instead of discrete nvidia), under load that games put on it, consumption will be overall at least tripple or more, especially games. so when you can like "work" for 6 hours, your battery will die in 1,5 hour at most, or after watching one 2 hour HD movie.

mind we also don't know, what exactly apple means by "full working day", but mind that usual workday is 8-9 hours (including lunch pause), rest is your private time. so it's just matter of PR and words.

Read literally any review of the new Macbook Pro. They're gonna mention the battery life.

You know how it is with Apple, you are probably holding it wrong or something. ;)
