I am hosting a headless multiplayer map for me and a few co-workers. Everything works fine for the first few days after creating a new map/game. But after a few days my co-workers start to hit desync issues. We have even set the /c game.speed=.5 and that helped for about a day.

The game speed can not improve synchronization. Check the fixed for next release section in the bug reports forum to find out if it could be a vanilla problem. If not, removing mods in useful sequence is the best way to find out which mod causes the desyncs so you can remove it.
