Yeah even a rough estimate would be nice. Like I've been dying to play Factorio for months now bc I keep thinking .15 is around the corner so I don't want to start a new game

ROTFL! That's actually quite funny. I'm not "anxiously waiting" for the new release. I'm interested, but not holding my breath, as I don't recall seeing any earth shattering new features worth holding my breath for. But I did find your timer funny

I managed to convice some friends to start with me as soon as 0.15 hits, and for months I've been telling well, February. Maybe. I guess.

Now it's almost February and...uh......Only thing I can tell is: February. Maybe. I guess. But maybe not as I havent heard any new Info.

Please communicate with us! Programmable Speaker is dope btw. More things to spend way too much time on for what its worth

they will not communicate a specific date until they are sure (close to it so).

they make a news once a week, you want daily report ?
Speaker is great, no only for the music thing, it will allow us to have circuit network alarm and such with even a way to make that alarm show on screen !

Eh, giving developers deadlines or encourging them to make them is generally a good way to get a crappy update. I mean, sure, most major updates get a patch (or 5) in the next week after the update, but trying to even get this information will make it more likely to be lower quality. I think thats how it works anyway.

No. It was about communication regarding 0.15

And I havent heard anything regarding what they think about the supposed time frame for quite some time. And I don't see any harm in asking either if its not in a negative way. However, if the reason I didnt hear anything about that is my ignorance, please just tell me and point me to a post where I can see more!

In addition, I kinda know a bit about gamedev and I know about Factorio for quite some time. I highly doubt they will rush anything because some people are vocal about something. They have more than enough money and community backing to just do whatever they want when they want pretty much

And I guess that is because people know by now that the people developing Factorio are neither disillusioned nor idiots.

In the last week's friday fact there was still a placeholder graphic for the nuclear stuff so i highly doubt 0.15 is right around the corner.

i just want what they have now so i can start formulating how to reoptimize boilers because they changed how heated water works so once 0.15 drops 1-14-10 steam no longer works.
