Cannot host servers, but I can join just fine.

I've been playing on 0.14.21 build 25327, win64, steam.

I've been unable to host any server whatsoever, which really sucks since I have the best internet out of the group of friends which i play with. (everybody else has lag which makes the game a bit uncomfortable sometimes). I can join their servers just fine and play for hours, and for some reason some people can only join through me on steam to connect to the server. It doesn't make sense to why I cannot host either, since multiplayer is steamworks.

Has anybody had a similar issue or know whats wrong here?

have you forwarded the port your using? does your router have outgoing NAT on that port?
outgoing NAT will break hosting a server.

I've forwarded the port, so it seems that maybe my router has an outgoing NAT? I don't know how to check if it does or not.

what is the make, model, and firmware of the router?
