I have GOG version and I can't connect to the mod portal

Hi, I don't have the Steam version, but the GOG one, but the mod portal page tells me to connect the Steam account to the Factorio one, so I can login. Hence my problem

You should get here :
https://www.factorio.com/profile
and link your game to yout Factorio account (and create one if you don't have any before).
With that Factorio account, you'll be able to log into the portal.

Link your Steam account
Your membership doesn't entitle you to recive a free Steam key. However you can still link the game with your existing Steam account to use Steam specific features (i.e. achievements, time tracking, friends)
And below that, a button that says : Link with my Steam account
No mention of GOG whatsoever, the button takes me to Steam, obviously

You can redeem an upgrade code from GOG, which will allow you to upgrade your account,
