i suspected that you moved me but that doesnt explain how i got here to see the reply when i bookmarked the general thread where i originally posted, i am spooked by this
Re: Support - Uranium Power
I moved your previous post where you asked a support question. Thus that is likely how your new post ended up here.

Re: Uranium Power
I am bravely trying to create nuclear waste processing plant in my own factorio world, but I think I've met serious problem on my way.
Namely atmosphere distilling machines produce 5 times more nitrogen gas than oxygen gas, while all recipes heavily depend on the oxygen supply rather than nitrogen.
I assume there is automated way to balance it, but I can't quite find it. Is the whole process working as "set up and forget" or is there maintenance required?

Re: Support - Uranium Power
Hello, take a look at my example build. You can vent the excess gas by hooking the line into the steam-engines on a separate electric-network with some electric sinks. This will destroy liquids. I meant for the ratio to be heavily more nitrogen than oxygen.

Calling Angel's and Bob's mod player.
I need the minimum list of these two mods so that I can test them. Apparently mineral sludge is giving absurd amounts of fluorite and uraninite. I can not test because either one of them do not play nice. I guess Angel's is the culprit....

Re: Uranium Power
Not sure what would be considered minimal, but if you've excluded bob's electronics, there appears to be an issue with angelsrefining:

Changing the listed three lines to say 'electronic-circuit' fixed it for me.

I don't have OCD, I have CDO. It's the same, but with the letters in the correct order.

Re: Support - Uranium Power
Mineral sludge is an Angels-only process, specific to his refining mod. You can crystallise minerals from slag (a by product of the refining process), albeit at a slow rate. You can potentially produce 1 piece of uraninite every four seconds, for each crystalliser deployed.Fatmice wrote:Calling Angel's and Bob's mod player.

Re: Support - Uranium Power
Any chance you can increase the circuit wire distance on the cold-leg tank? My tight-squeeze build would appreciate it as it is a lot easier to connect the cold leg vs a storage tank to inject fresh water if needed.
This is how I am using it modified to 7.5. The only drawback to just changing the distance is the connection points are rendered in the wrong spot but minor issue compared to how it works
My whole center column Pressurized water turbines, inserters, lights, pumps are able to be ran on a separate network if needed

Fixed for 0.6.7. I've changed the distance for wire connection length to 7.5 for various orientation.

Re: Uranium Power
On the 250MW reactor running two 43MW turbine/cooling towers.
I get fluctuation of power at full load. Seems like the reactor can run slightly less than the 96MW -- intentional? Something wrong with my setup?
Tried to buffer the steam on the right one, but it had no positive/negative affect.

Turbine fills with steam and runs out slightly before the next steam cycle. So small gap with no production -- averages to 80MW production.

Very likely you don't have the magical numbers needed for pressurised-water in the primary loop.Peppe wrote:On the 250MW reactor running two 43MW turbine/cooling towers.

Read a few posts down also if you need more help.
Buffering won't help since the problem is fluid dynamics and thus heat dynamics. At maximum production, you are operating on the knife's edge of the heat flow's maximum in the primary loop.Peppe wrote: Tried to buffer the steam on the right one, but it had no positive/negative affect.

Re: Uranium Power
i dont now how to get the full into a reactor do i use an inserter, because it says something about reactoracces port, and their is no such thing posible to craft in my crafting
Re: Uranium Power
When you place the reactor, a reactor port magically appears in your inventory. Have a good look in your backpack .lukaIII wrote:i dont now how to get the full into a reactor do i use an inserter, because it says something about reactoracces port, and their is no such thing posible to craft in my crafting
Re: Uranium Power
I've changed the message to make it clearer that you need to look in your inventory for the portlukaIII wrote:i dont now how to get the full into a reactor do i use an inserter, because it says something about reactoracces port, and their is no such thing posible to craft in my crafting
