{14.21} Inserts not inserting into flotation cells

On a map a few friends and I play on this weird issue occurred. Inserter would not insert into empty flotation cells. They insert into the cells on the beginning portion of the line but not towards the end. If I replace the inserter it works for a few seconds then stops. There is nothing in the buffer of the flotation cells except water on the input side. I've attached two pictures below to help get a visual of what's going on. I don't know how to replicate this. I could try to get my hands on any files needed.

The items on the belt seem be outside of the inserter pick up window. Since this is not observable in vanilla, I assume it is a mod issue until proven otherwise.

Hmm thank you for your help. We turned everything horizontal and now we don't have this issue. Seems to be only vertical.

This is a weird behavior due to using/switching on the furnace types for the machines. I do know of some other cases where they are buggy/behaving in a weird way, but there is nothing I can do about it.
The furnace types with complex recipes should theoretically work, but on the other hand furnace types were never intended to be used with this kind of recipes/complexity. If you want to fix it remove the furnace type trigger and set recipes by hand again.
