Achievements won't register (14.21)

I played several hundred hour with mods; now gettin in touch with Achievments.
So.
I cleaned the mod folder in /appdata/ and the in game mod list has just 'Base Mod' listed and active.
Started a new game, not peaceful, build till the Diesel Locomotive and nothing happened.

I've a build a small track to run myself over (by the train) and didn't got the connected Achievement either.

What's wrong here?

That does not work.

The world had mods in it so factorio marked it as modded and you cant get the achievements when you use mods

It's a complete new map/world started AFTER the cleanup.

Just crafting the locomotive will not give you the achievement, you have to actually place it down.

Hey i guess you are looking for the wrong achivement.
Running over by train is called 'Watch your step'.

Could you please check if this is achieved?

No it's just not clear what your problem is.

If you started a new game and built the locomotive and putted it on track within the first 90 minutes you would got the achivemment.
If not you probably fucked something up.

Also, I am sorry, you may have misunderstood my reply, it was only my intent to help.
Since I seem to not be the only one who can not follow you we should clear everything up now to not cause even more confusion.

What I can see on your screenshot above is that you have crafted two locomotives that are still in your inventory. There is no track to bee seen and also no placed locomotive.
This lead me to the conclusion that you hadn't placed the locomotive down which would explain why the achievement was not unlocked.
But if I understand you correctly you have already placed a locomotive down? If so did you at least get the achievement ingame?

Hi, i think i have the same problem.

I never used mods so far. Only the base mod is active and it should be...right ?

Today i tried to succeed in the achievement "Eisener Thron 1". (produce 20k ironplates per hour).
Made 24k per hour but got no achievement.

Is there a list of thing i have NOT to do, when i want achievements? (such as NOT using mods). Maybe i then could find out, what i made wrong.

After Factorio starts into menu, do you get message saying "Couldn't initialize Steam API. Steam related features are disabled. Restarting Steam usually fixes this issue."?

Both of you, please post your logs (located at %APPDATA%\Factorio\factorio-current.log). Also post screenshot of in-game achievement menu, please. To open it, you can use highlighted button on screenshot bellow:
