Change or generation settings mid game ?

Is there a way to change this ? for new chunks. I have a map that i do not want to restart :/

It might be possible with a hex editor and knowledge where the settings are stored, but in general the answer is
No, you can't change the map settings mid-game.

There might be mods that can change ore generation settings (maybe RSO), but they only work for new patches and might produce strange results when not already included in the map generation in the first place.
