• Fixed that the demo version couldn't start.

• Fixed that the game crashed when it was closed while sound settings were opened.

Sorry, just to be sure - so 0.14.19 is now officially the latest stable version? Sorry, cannot find anything on the games hompage ... but since it's asking me whether to update or not at game launch, I suppose so ..

Go to your factorio game folder, find the data folder and inside there, you will find a changelog.txt for up to your version you have install.
If you havent the latest and be afraid to install it, just download the latest version as zip so you can extract the changelog.txt only.

When I go to download the 0.14.19 version on the website's download page. Everything's in the stable release now. There's nothing in the experimental release. Was this meant?

It means that .14 is considered stable, nothing else.

It was about 3 months before we got 0.13 after 0.12 was stable.

Yes but keep in mind that 0.14 was an "interim" update, supposedly it allowed them to test multiplayer while still working on the features for 0.15 so theoretically it's 3-4 months after 0.13 but we'll see.
