I can't stand the wrong direction of gui.left anymore, and it seems there is still time before the release of 0.15, so I made this mod. :)

This mod is rather appealing to me because I play some fairly heavily modded games, but it doesn't appear to be working. Here is my current modlist:

Your image showed the top bar instead of the left bar.... just want to make sure you didn't get the idea wrong, because those buttons are using the Top GUI, which is out of scope of this mod. ;)
Would you mind show me more GUIs that use the left bar, or those you think having problems on alignment?

Oh I see, I guess I was misunderstanding what your mod does. I thought it would take all the top bar stuff and make it go along the left edge instead. Sounds like there isn't any problem with it as is ! :)

Ah ha. It is ok. :lol: I think I know why you have that idea.... is it because the EMC button taking too much space when it is opened? 8-)
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to make the top GUI align vertically without affecting the left GUI. So, I would suggest contacting osldgoth, the author of Enhanced Map Color, tell him to use the left GUI for displaying the long panel, like Upgrade Planner. ;)

I have an update (WIP) that includes changes such as the legend being created on gui.left instead, but one reason I haven't released it is because gui.left is horizontal. was waiting for the gui rework to come out.

It's great that you already have the solution. :D
I think there is no need to wait for the gui rework before releasing updates, because we still don't know when will 0.15 come out. :P To give the best experience of our mod users without requiring them to wait too long, I would still release updates of existing mods. ;)

And as you can see, gui.left is vertical now (with my mod)! :mrgreen:
