cant delete my saves

Hello,

so this might sound odd to do but i have a bunch of old saves i wanna delete that i played with friends online since most of the time we start a new save when we decide to play some factorio since updates change things or we add mods or remove mods but everytime i delete my old saves they get deleted but then the next day when i start factorio up agian they are back anyone experience the same issue.

how i think it started but im not sure is when i made a folder in the saves folder named Old Backups Saves.

Do you sync the savegames with steam?
If so you'll need to delete them from ingame.

i do delete them ingame but i dont always play factorio via steam since the factorio on steam isnt most of the time the latest factorio experimental or normal game

Normally the latest experimental / stable version is pushed to factorio.com and Steam at the same time (or nearly the same time).
Do you have opted in the experimental-0.14 beta branch in the game's settings?

I'd disable cloud saves for the game altogether, if you're playing standalone the Steam synch will either refuse to work or possibly even overwrite them.
