Burner inserters that never run out of energy?

Hi,

I'm looking for a mod so that burner inserters will never pick up an item if they don't have enough energy left to deliver said item and pick up some fuel after that., if it is possible to mod.

Meaning that when the inserter is low on fuel it won't pick up some iron ore, get half way to the furnace and then run out of energy. Instead it should wait till some more coal comes along and pick that up for itself first.
