pipe-to-ground: render_layer = "floor" ?

Post by aubergine18 »

Is there any way to get a pipe-to-ground to work with render_layer = "floor"? (or a similar "under the character/vehicle" layer?)

Alternatively, for things on render_layer = "object", is there any way to make sure the player character/vehicle always appears on top of them (never behind or under)?
Better forum search for modders: Enclose your search term in quotes, eg. "font_color" or "custom-input" - it prevents the forum search from splitting on hypens and underscores, resulting in much more accurate results.

Hrm, actually, it will need to be render_layer = "floor", otherwise the pipe-to-ground renders over the top of any simple-entity with render_layer = "floor" on the tile below. :?
