0.14.11 max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second broken Win64
running a headless server on the machine i also play on. server starts fine now. however when it comes time to download the map
after connecting to multiplayer/localhost, it just sits at 0.
[edit] setting max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second to anything besides 0 makes the upload stall. [edit]log removed[/edit]

Re: 0.14.11 map won't download from headless server Win64

Re: 0.14.11 map won't download from headless server Win64
ok, i just changed the max_upload_in_kilobytes_per_second to 0 and i'm able to download the map.
setting it to anything besides 0 makes the download stall.

Several multiplayer maps I have joined it downloads at my full connection speed, 10mbit for most the map then it suddenly slows down to like 500 b/s not kb just b, so it estimate hours to finish download like last quarter of the map file. Makes it impossible to join some servers.

That is not related to the issue in this report, do not derail it!Nanostech wrote:Several multiplayer maps I have joined it downloads at my full connection speed, 10mbit for most the map then it suddenly slows down to like 500 b/s not kb just b, so it estimate hours to finish download like last quarter of the map file. The name is wrong, it is in byte/s. No idea why it has been moved to fixed, it is not yet: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=35047impetus maximus wrote:wait, resolved? this still does not work for me.

I assume initial problem of the topic is that limits under 101KB/s not work, limiting the speed to 0.
Fixed in Version: 0.14.15.

correct. i've been trying to use a value of 50 and it hangs. 100 hangs, and 101 works.Twinsen wrote:I assume initial problem of the topic is that limits under 101KB/s not work, limiting the speed to 0.
