[0.14.14] Crash on startup

Only happened once, and subsequent attempts have been error-free.

Late 2012 iMac. Logs and mods below

It happened again, log file attached.

Only things that changed recently are: update to 0.14.14 and also installed load of Bob's mods (although most of them are currently disabled). Also, doing some work on my own mod so that could be potential cause?

When it crashes, screen looks like this:



The crash occurs at the point when the main menu would normally be displayed.

Like previous crash, subsequent attempts have been error-free.

Try to go to Factorio properties in Steam and set launch options to

Code: Select all

--max-texture-size=4096

and let me know if that helps, please.

Will let you know if there are any more crashes. With the modding, I'm restarting factorio > 50 times per day so shouldn't take too long to see if it's helped.

50+ launches of Factorio over the past day and no recurrence of the crash. It seems the launch param has solved the issue
