I'm on ADSL 2+ & it takes about 30min to sync my saved games. I have 1 large game - launched 19 rockets, 20 or so trains, etc. & 1 game just started. I delete the autosave games each time before I exit.
Is this normal.

Hi, Steam Clound sync is completely done by Steam and we have no way how to affect it other than reducing save size (which we are always trying to do).
Factorio saves can get quite big, some large factories can produce save of size 100 MB or even more.
If you are on Windows, you can check how big are your save files, by using shortcut Win + R, enter %APPDATA%\Factorio, which should bring up Explorer window with Factorio data folder. Open saves and see how big your save file is.
If you don't play same map on more computers simultaneously, I'd recommend you to disable Cloud sync in Factorio properties in Steam.

I do play on several machines. Seems I forgot to delete the auto saves this time & the save file also got corrupted. Thanks anyway.

Wouldn't know how to access it. It was only corrupted when I tried it on my laptop. I have since tried on my d2sktop & it was ok so I saved and synced again. Only took a few minutes.
