Can you reproduce any of that with in 14.13?

For the crash on start you should look if a new graphics driver is available, and try if starting it with directX works. Also make sure it is not trying to use AFR when starting factorio.

and for the load-savegame-crash:
Does only that save crash or unrelated saves as well? If only that one, then please upload it.
