Game still paused and saving while user already quit!
The user has desynced and quit but the game was still paused for a long time (about a minute).
It says: Server is saving the map for <unknown-user>.

Did the server take so long in general to save the map or only in this case?
14.13 is not released yet, what version of the game are really using?

Sorry, renamed to 0.14.12.Loewchen wrote:Did the server take so long in general to save the map or only in this case?

All the people on the server waited about one minute for the map save. Also it happened many times with many desyncs.
Re: [0.14.12] Server saves game for disconnected/desynced peer.
I think this is simply the dump of the desync report that takes some time to be created.
NaB.

Yes, the desync dump takes longer as it is much larger now so we can get more info from it.
It already helped us to investigate different desync causes that are going to be fixed in the next release (to be online today), so take it (the inconveniently long saving time with desync reports) as investment in the long run.
We don't support break of save in progress (when it is no longer needed), but we could do it in future version, but it is a minor priority.
