Looking to rent a server whos company is based in the USA.
Banks have gotten to the point were they are blocking transactions to many foreign countries due to the huge influx of fraud lately. I cannot find a game server to rent because the bank wont lift the block for more than one payment so I am looking for one to that is financially based in the U.S.A. that has Factorio.

If you're technical and/or feeling adventurous you can set up your own server on an AWS box. I've had my own already running for a few weeks now and I'm quite happy with it. The main upside is that you have complete control over whatever you want to do assuming the dedicated server allows it. The downside, obviously is that it can take a while to configure and get running. The best part is that Amazon's free tier is powerful enough to run a Factorio server on so you can run the server free for the first year and for about $10 a month after that.

If you are still looking, I am able to set you up with whatever you need and I will give it to you for free since I need a few customers to test out the hosting besides myself. Datacenter is in NY, and you get TCAdmin control panel. The only thing I ask is that you let me know of any issues you find in TCAdmin while you configure your server.
If this is something you or anyone else is interested in, let me know.

For $10 a month you should get a linode server instead, they're much faster for the same money.robopilot99 wrote:If you're technical and/or feeling adventurous you can set up your own server on an AWS box.
