Large map and autosave crashes

Large map and autosave crashes

I'm running a headless windows Factorio game on PingPerfect. We've got an 85MB save file (explored like crazy, realised the map gen had gone wrong, stuck with enormous map) with a fair number of mods. Twice now it's crashed trying to do an autosave with this in the logs

Please also include the save file(s), any mods you may be using, and any steps you know of to reproduce the crash.
I raised a ticket with PingPerfect and they reckon it's Factorio. If you are interested, I will collect all the relevant details the next time it happens. If not we'll just live with it.

Please post the log, the save and your mod folder.

How much memory do you have on your PingPerfect server?

Will do next time it happens. The old log is gone I'm afraid.

The support guy I spoke to said it's running about 4GB. I had rented it as 2GB so I've since increased to 4GB and higher priority CPU. Next time it happens I'll collect everything I can and let you know where you can get it.

Since increasing the memory allowance for Factorio and using undecorator to drop the map from 88MB to 29MB this has not occurred again.
