[14.9] Graphical issues with filled pipes on extra low sprite resolution

Post by glek »

I've only run into this issue recently when I started playing Factorio on a laptop with less than stellar hardware. I turned the settings down and when I started making pipes I ran into this issue:

This seems to happen every time I load this save game.

My graphics settings are:

System:

OS: Arch Linux w/ Deepin Desktop
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 1GB (driver package: nvidia 370.28-1)
CPU: Intel Core i7 quad-core @ 3.2 GHz
RAM: 12 GB

Attached is my log from this start of the game.

I can confirm, sprite resolution to extra low causes this look in filled pipes and its surroundings (using Nvidia graphics as well).

Extra-low causes all kinds of oddities like this. It's the last resort when absolutely nothing else will work to make the game run on your computer.
