Instead of the research window popping up when done, just have it flashing with the "Finished/Done sound" on the top right along with "READY" or something and then press T to start the next but with the full options what to research.

A burner to get rid of unwanted items that are of no use.

A tree logging cutter/burner thats needed to make electric poles as well as copper cable and steel.

This will have to be done eventually because stopping the game in multiplayer is not possible.
