Friends couldn't establish network communication w/ server

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to start a multiplayer server via Multiplayer-> New Game.

For some reason, my friends can't join me. They keep getting the error "Couldn't establish network communication with Server".

I'm on Factorio 0.13.20. I have Factorio allowed on my firewall.

I have a Netgear R7800, with port forwarding enabled. Forwarding port I'm using is 34197. UPnP is also enabled.

I even tried to use the experimental 0.14.7 version but it still didn't work.

Any ideas as to why they can't connect?

Additional note, I'm using VPN on my computer, maybe that has something to do with it?

I got it to work.

It was because of VPN. My VPN needed port forwarding as well.
