Re: [MOD 0.12.x] Crafted Artifacts v1.3.1
Could you please update for 0.13? This is the best.

Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
What happens if i add this mod to an existing save game? The mod wont work?(rare earth will not spawn), if thats the case there is any console command or mod to make the rare earth spawn?
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
In the 0.13 version I've turned off the custom ore by default, the recipes use stone, iron and copper instead. You can change the setting by extracting the mod zip and editing data.lua.
If you have the custom ore turned on, then the ore should appear if you explore new chunks, I think.

Darn, that's why my first play attempt with 0.13 didn't show Rare Earths. I thought something was broken.
I guess there's no less-invasive way than editing source? Factorio really needs some support added here.

I can see why the ore is disabled by default.. at least without RSO, it spawns EVERYWHERE O_o
Not so rare earth

Yup, realized this myself. Started a map with frequency on lowest, and size and richness maxed, and got this (not sure it worked )Kryzeth wrote:I can see why the ore is disabled by default.. at least without RSO, it spawns EVERYWHERE O_o
Not the lack of Oil. That map's from right now, after putting up a radar to help me find some oil. SOL, I guess.
Time to try out RSO (which I haven't run yet).

changing false to true doesn't work on saves (0.13) - it still shows the old recipes
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
Is there a 0.14 version planned?
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
Yes, sorry I've been very busy with work. In the next day or two.
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
Updated now. No longer uses a custom ore, instead rare earth is created from stone, iron, a bit of copper and sulfuric acid. Rare earth is now smelted into superconductors.

Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
This mod seems to be incompatible with your Reactors mod, with its recipe for artifacts from a plutonium core.
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
In what way is it not compatible?

Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
It straight up overwrites the recipe, no alternate recipe to make the artifact. Only the plutonium core recipe is visible.GotLag wrote:In what way is it not compatible?
Re: [MOD 0.12.x, 0.13.x] Crafted Artifacts
Indeed, i also use "reactors" and the recipe from "Crafted Artifacts" is not showing up.
Personally, i simply don't know enough if a rename would help anything, so i rather not touch the files.
But if you have any spare time, it would be awesome if you could check it.
