So basically a machine that you could put stuff in (anything) and you would get very small amount of electricity but a great amount of pollution,from burning/destroying items
This would solve the problem of having items you don't need/want, something similar to the Trashcan mod, i think it would add to fun gameplay/immersion

Usually people just put stuff they don't want into a wooden box, and then blow the box up with weapon of choice.

Also, a lot of materials can be used as fuel for boilers and furnaces. I know this is a thing as well- using all your old wooden poles as fuel for the steel smelters.
