Button with glyph + label or progress?

I'm trying to create a button with both a glyph and a label, or a glyph and a progress (like radial hand crafting progress indicator, not the usual progress bar) but no matter what I try I can't get it to work.

For example, if I add a child label element to a glyph button, the label appears outside the button (same happens when I try adding a label child to a normal button).

And regarding the radial progress indication, I can't seem to get that to work at all (seems the game hardcodes that for exclusive use by hand crafting).

Any ideas or is it time to put in a modding api request?
