Long description

Important: this mod depends on Color Picker. You will have to download it together with this mod. Otherwise, this mod will not be enabled, because the color picker is the main feature of this mod.

Once set, this mod adds a small button on the top-left corner during the game. You can change your player color with it.


This is also a demonstration on how to integrate the Color Picker mod. Feel free to check its code.

• Changed mod name from "Player Color" to "Color Picker - Player", for better mod grouping.
  • Mod ID is not affected.
• Optimized the button image to decrease overall mod size.

Maybe. But are you sure you don't want to use the built-in interface for changing train color?

Well i like the color picker.
The vanilla selector can only use the rgb values and i don't want to remember them.

Unfortunately, there is a problem in the modding API, so we have to wait until it is fixed: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=30741

nah, it is ok. Not your fault. It is just the API not ready for that right now.
(maybe I can find a workaround when I have time)

Same as the Color Picker mod, now Player Color works in Factorio 0.14.
But there is a known issue: the color picker is not positioned correctly and may overlap with the UI on top. Waiting for the devs to fix this.
