Attack of the matrix, random bug client side

Post by supernet2 »

This is graphical but its idk if its really a bug, it just happens and then you need to crash out or close your client, the other users on server dont seem affected though, and the server operates with out any real hickups like it never happened, so from observation it seems to be clientside a video is attached as a live demo of what happens randomly for unknown reason

Did you press one of the F5-6-7 keys? Do you have any mods? Do you have steps to reproduce this issue?
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

This will be edited in 15min with a downloadable Server save file, Log File & client Save file (just incase it can be generated something on server side, vs client side) https://www.dropbox.com/s/jp686tjsjrx0c ... e.zip?dl=0 This file will be pulled in 72hrs after i presume someone on the dev team will download it to take a look at the logs, the save files, etc...

You activated:
  1. show_fps
  2. multiplayer_statistics
  3. unit_behaviour_info
  4. last_path_detail
I am pretty sure it is the display of the last debug setting.
I could not reproduce it in that extent though.

Edit: It is the last_path_detail debug setting, just deactivate it, it seems to be working as intended though just costs performance.
NaB.

Thanks your a life saver, given i tried fumbling with disabling everything but when i attempted to disable all boxes checked it just wouldn't apply. Thank you, i did a fresh clean install, and just kept everything disabled, that resolved it for me, alongside double checking and reattempting to apply (just to be safe) the last_path_detail configuration. Thank you!
