Grids in Other Stuff

So, I'm curious if we can get equipment grids in stuff other than vehicles.

My use case is for character entities. I would like to do special stuff for my avatars, but I can totally see other possibilities, too. Mods could use a player equipment grid as something like equipped items, like having a targeting helmet for ion cannon to use a hotkey to fire it, or an early game version of night goggles.

Yes, but then I have to do some really hacky things if I want to make it work for avatars (give them a power armor, force the player to not remove them, destroy it when the mine the avatar, but don't destroy the equipment in it, etc.).


If it's not worth doing then that's fine, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, in light of recent grid-based events.
