[0.13.2] Attempt to join kicks other players

I attempted to join my server and I got the usual "server not responding message" and it kicked 2 other players from the server.

In the client log I see dropped packets, it can be related to these 2 bug reports:

As most of the multiplayer has been rewritten for 0.14, I will move this to resolved.
