Hi, in the latest release changelog it says: "Fixed train path finding penalty for circuit network disabled signals.".
I thought this would fix issues like viewtopic.php?f=173&t=27740 .
I did a quick test shown in the following screenshot:
The stations on the left have the same name. I switch the signal manually with a constant combinator. No matter when I switch it, the train always takes the closest route. When I place a train on the second rail route from the left, the path finding works correctly (the other train will take the longer route where it doesnt have to wait).
Is this the issue that should be fixed with the line in the changelog? Or is the issue I have still planned to be fixed for 0.14?

I see, all these are special cases, where the signal in question is directly followed by the station, which was something that the code missed, should be fixed in the next version.

i think my issue is related.
as of 0.13.17 i have a condition where a chain signal has a train stopped. if a station is placed between the chain signal and the next signal the train will run the chain signal and go to the stop. if the train at the chain signal is intstructed to go to a stop past the next signal it will wait at the chain signal.
i can upload a sample if you really need it but i think i was pretty clear.
love this game BTW!

This is a completely different issue. And has been deemed as correct behavior just the signal color is incorrect, it should be showing blue as there is an open path to the station since the station is before the blocked exit. OR something like that.impetus maximus wrote:i think my issue is related.
