eroor by loading save game after x time play

Hello,

After playing for serveral hours playing i save the game. And after that i load the game and i get an error. Than factorio close. I get this log:

Hi, thanks for the report.
Can you upload the save and your mod folder please?
Last time I saw stack trace like this there was some entity which created new entities during load.

Do you have overclocked CPU? Could you run memtest to check if your RAM sticks are alright?

thanks, i will test it. what did you change?

I don't run overclocked cpu's and did run a memtest, memory is oké.

Also i did post a link with my mods and give it a download limit of 2 and it was already used.

There was flipped 24th bit of Y coordinate of two entities, which moved them way beyond your explored map, which caused chunk generation during loading and that caused crash.

After finding positions of incorrect values I changed them in hex editor.

You need to fix your RAM so it doesn't corrupt your map. We can't spend all our time fixing saves corrupt by peoples bad hardware.

My ram, broken. Lol.... my ram is 100% fine. I play a lot of bigger games than this one and i don't have any problems with it.

How can you think and say this.

You hat a bit flip, that is not caused by bad code but by an hardware issue. It is absurd to ask the devs to repeatedly fix your corrupted saves. Fix your hardware!

I am not so eager to dismiss something like this as HW issue, but I must admit it currently seems like the most plausible explanation. Usually, map corruptions caused by our crappy coding affect large number of people. Here is your save fixed. You'll have to update to the latest 0.13 version to load it. I made it that way, because current version detects this kind of corruption on save and won't allow you to overwrite good save with corrupted one. When that happens, you'll loose progress from the latest autosave, but if it really is caused by error in our code, it could give us working save and broken one very close to each other and maybe even steps how to reproduce the issue, so we can fix it.
