I play the win32 version and the bug appears in every map (even maps from other win64 players), regardless if it's a new map or not.

When I build rails with the rail builder, exit the train builder (via [Q] button oder [ESC]) and want to re-enter the builder by clicking on a rail with a green arrow, the builder suggests (in green) the last building position, where the last rails were built.
If you retry that, it directly builds rails from there, trying to get to where you are. The rails are being built no regard if you are in range or not!

The only way I could verify to reset the building position is to save and load the game. Then it is reset once but the bug reappears.
It happened once or twice ingame, that I could build rails in another position, but I don't know what action in between provoked the reset.

It is a really unpleasant bug, because it affects the gameplay a lot for me. Maybe I'm the last win32-Player or what?! :D

Thanks!

Mbe the 32bit thing was the property we did not adopt.

Just to be sure, you are using 32bit windows as well?

Does this happen with the latest version of the game? The log file says you're on 0.13.12.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Yes. I am running 32bit windows.

The linked bug seems to be exactly the same.
Would you recommend to also un- and reinstall everything?

Maybe it's a Win32-pre-0.12.-thing, although I had to reinstall several times in the meantime...

I would download the .zip version and try if that works.

It worked! So I guess the error is still in the Win32.exe.
I'll stay with the zip-version so far.

Thanks a lot!
