Hosting a Factorio server on a shared host or not?

Hey,
i would like to buy a Factorio server but im not very good with the technical stuff so i try to avoid Dedicated server or Vps. I found that there are a few hosts but im not sure if im going to have issues like lags or server reboots and that king of problems.
Is it ok to go with a shared host, or to buy a dedicated server and try to learn?

Would you trust any of this factorio hosts ?
Should the ddos worry me?

go for a dedicated server its not hard to get factorio setup on one if you need help let me know i have my own dedicated server that i play on.
