hi quick question I hope somone knows off hand.
I am in a game and am about to start setting up my oil production and I want to prepare for advanced refining so my question is What side of the inputs is water ? Right or left input ?
thank you.
I suppose I should state that the input's in my game are faceing up and the 3 outputs are faceing down.
input's on oil refinery

Re: input's on oil refinery
water is on the side closest to heavy oil for advanced processing. i believe that would be the right side input if you have crude coming in from the top

Press Alt and you will see icons on incoming tubes.
Re: input's on oil refinery
Alt will not show the water input until advanced oil is already finished and chosen.
It would be nice for the refinery graphic to give some kind of hint here.

Ahh, it's pre-research stage
By the way, there is no general schema on these alignments between refinery and chemical plant Tubes order on refinery matches recipe order if refinery is placed upwards (output tubes on top), but chemical plant they match when plant is facing downwards.

I'm pretty sure, relative to direction of flow, it always matches recipe order, but I could be wrong.Harkonnen604 wrote:Ahh, it's pre-research stage

Well, for some reason it's reversed for chemical plants...Frightning wrote:I'm pretty sure, relative to direction of flow, it always matches recipe order, but I could be wrong.
