Anyone else hyped about the Civ VI announcement?

Anyone else hyped about the Civ VI announcement?

I know, it's a Factorio forum, but I'm betting there's a lot of overlap :D

I stopped being hyped by Civ games since I realized no civ game gave me more plasure than civ 2 (the next one being civ 1). I bought all of them, but didn't even finish one full game in civ 5. I guess I'll stop trying.

Civ 2 is actually the only one I don't like :D.
I started with Civ 1, and got Civ 3 before I ever tried 2. I only got into Civ 2 after having played 4 for quite a while, but never understood how to play it...

I've played them all but I don't get hyped about series that have missing features or serious bugs that don't get fixed in the first year of release.

I'll be adopting a wait and see approach with VI.

Ditto. Alpha Centauri was very good too, but the others were disappointing.

Also looking forward to civ VI.
I still play CIV V occasionally.
Been playing since CIV III and yes IV and V weren't that great when they were just released. The DLC's are must buys
VI is supposed to have all the features like religion and espionage from the start so I wonder what kind of DLC they will release to milk the cashcow.
Knowing 2K, it's gonna be overpriced like hell

I bought my first computer to play Civ 1 and played that game quite a lot. Civ 2-4 were nice successors. I think Civ IV is still a fun game to play.

They made so many huge mistakes with Civ V that I would *almost* compare Civ V with Master of Orion 3. One Unit Per Tile broke Civilization.

If Civ VI also has One Unit Per Tile, I will consider Civ VI to be Master of Orion 3 (part Two). :-)
