I think it would be best to use the transmission control protocol to get the game state over the network since it's made for transferring data in a reliable fashion.
If you really must use the user datagram protocol, my suggestion is to use it for a mumble server/client application so people can talk to each others while playing.

Sorry I was searching for TCP in that subforum and didn't find anything, I had scripts and cookies allowed for the domain. Nevertheless, apologies for being bad in searching the forums and opening a new one.
