Logistic bots vanishing as they enter Roboport

I am running on a map generated on 0.13 and I believe it was generated on 0.13.2.
I have not downloaded every version of 0.13 and played but I believe I have actually played this map on 0.13.2, 0.13.4, 0.13.5, 0.13.7, and 0.13.9. I am not set to download every version. I prefer to review the release notes and decide when to download the next set of changes.
I am playing completely vanilla, no mods and have not had any mods installed.

I have probably build around 600 - 800 logistics bots. I currently have 2. Initially they seemed to randomly vanish. I would leave the base and come back and have 50% or more of the logistics bots gone. I have not build very many construction bots on this map but they are not disappearing.

I finally noticed as it got worse that literally as they entered a roboport, the total count would drop. Just now I watched 50 or more bots resupply me and enter a roboport and my bot count dropped from a little over 100 quickly down to 2 left. They are not in my inventory. They are not in storage chests. They are gone!

If you need a save game file I will do so but I will need a more private way to do so than throwing it on a public folder on dropbox. As a software developer for 25 years, almost every piece of software I have worked on has been found to have information I would not want public. Let me know if we can do something a little more private.

Nice job with 0.13. One of the reasons I am playing vanilla is you included something very similar for almost every mod I had installed on 0.12.

I played over weekend for 10 hours and there is no difference in logistic robot count between my 0.12 and 0.13 save. Also I couldn't reproduce the issue in simple setup with one roboport, storage chest and requester chest.

Unfortunately, this is my first post and it appears that I cannot use private messages until I post more. If we can change that setting then I'll send you a save file.

The best I can do for steps to reproduce is that it appears most likely to happen after I build a batch of logistics bots (usually 50) manually. I drop them in a roboport in the bot slots. They immediately exit the roboport and go get things to resupply me. As they deliver the supplies to my character and then go to a roboport to enter, they disappear. The available/total count drops fast. It was a few at a time early on but now they are disappearing almost immediately.

I'll try to make some decent posts and see if I can private message you the save file.

Let me know if you can duplicate. The more logistics bots you build to add at one time, the faster it tends to send them to the bit bucket

Did you by any chance accidentally reverse the inserter next to the roboport that should insert repair packs? It removes all the logistic robots from the roboport and puts them into the requester chest.

WOW! Never thought to look at that! Well, I feel a little stupid but that is great news! I can play again and best of all... 1000+ bots are still there!
