[0.13.7] Corrupted game state

I got a message saying that the game state was corrupted. This is a link to two save files, one is the last working (an autosave) and one is the corrupted save.

I'm afraid that the relevant log file was quickly overwritten. Without really thinking, I tried to reload my game from my own save file (not an autosave) which I know wasn't corrupted.
When the map loaded up it immediately crashed with an 'unexpected error'. I think the two events are related and fortunately that log file hasn't been overwritten yet:

Note: This probably has to do with one of the mods I installed, Factorio Maps. I got the game state corrupted message right after attempting to create a new map of my entire base. The creation of the map however also failed.

I'm afraid your progress since 12.35 is most likely lost, even if you can still load some of the saves you made since then, you would be better off to load the last .12 save again in the latest .13 version as every child save that was once saved in the early .13 version will corrupt at some point.

Being a programmer myself I really feel that this particular instance has something to do with the FactorioMaps mod. The corruption occurred right after creating a map. Or during actually.
My guts says that this was just some weird interplay between the API used by the mod and the game itself.

If I succeed in recreating the error then I'll post the log in here.

Anyhow, I have no .12 saves so I'll just keep playing, saving some blueprints in the meantime and if it crashes.. well, this is just a warm-up game anyway (it's my first game).
