Universal composer (combinators)

This board is to show, discuss and archive useful combinator- and logic-creations.
Smart triggering, counters and sensors, useful circuitry, switching as an art :), computers.
Please provide if possible always a blueprint of your creation.

Universal composer (combinators)

Post by magals »

I offer you a scheme of universal Composer.

This scheme allows you to share resources or produce conveyor sorting by the desired number.

To build this block a scheme can be in unlimited quantities. All that is required to connect a few wires sequentially.

The number of resource units is specified in a constant schemer

The scheme consists of:
Red - rs-trigger
Yellow - signal converter
Purple - resource counter
Orange - counter reset signal

This is what we all wanted! But the use is similar to rainbow-belts?
(viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28414)
though your composer seems more controlled! nice :)

In my scheme the most important thing you can set the number, and not uniformly share resources.

This topic is strange, I thought such system is obvious for everyone (but no one is protected from mistake :D )...
Proportion (5:3:2)
Blueprint

Holy crap, do you really need equal proportion and items in continuous bunches?
Because my build gives only equal proportion...
Can you describe an example when these bunches are needed?

Edit: Ah, yes, it is my fault, I didn't describe how to run this stuff.
After building this blueprint, most likely you will have some noise in the memory cell, so you need to clear it.
To do this you should disconnect cell's backloop and reconnect it again (memory cell - leftmost combinator).
Then you should throw manually 1 iron plate, 1 copper plate, and 1 steel in appropriate belts.

sorry for the google translation.
in a moment, the belt becomes clogged one resource, and because of this inserter will not take the rest of the next resource

example(I cleared the memory):

Yes, you keep the proportions, but not sort the resources

That's why these systems are always used with the closed loop.
