textfield.text value not correct in on_gui_text_changed

after several tries, I noticed that
in the on_gui_text_changed event, if you read the value of the textfield that triggered the event, it still contains the old value, and not the new one. There is always one step late.

try with this simple mod :
Empty_0.0.1.zip

any idea ? is it a bug or do I miss something ?
