Username and password for updates

Hi,

I have updated to .13.0 and now every time i load Factorio i am being asked to login to download any updates, i have tried my usual login details and they are not working. I can bypass the step by clicking on "Ask Me Later" but obviously this means i am not going to get any more updates. Can anyone help me?

Do you manage to log into the website ? You might have a similar to viewtopic.php?f=49&t=27122 issue.

Yes i can sign in to the website absolutely fine, i am not getting the error message that was posted in that other topic, i did look at that before posting mine

Do you need me to post any screenshots of what i am getting?

Ok, i am at work currently, but will post what i can tonight when i get home.

Could it be that my Factorio account is not yet linked to my Steam account?

I noticed last night on my account page that i have not yet linked the 2 accounts and was wondering if that was the reason?

I did get my Steam code and re-deemed it on the Steam store, but i never installed it using Steam, i just kept my install from before the Steam launch.

This is the error message i get when trying to login to get updates within Factorio.

As i said previously i can login to the website with the details and that works fine.

I have now connected my Factorio account with my Steam account and am still having problems.

Would it be worth downloading the newest experimental from the site and then installing that to see if it fixes the problem?

Should all be fixed now, please recheck your accounts and email me (support[at]factorio.com) if you still show as free membership

My account has never shown me anything other than "Furnace Attendant" so this point is moot for me.

Hi,

Thank you whoever reset my Factorio account login . I reset the password and this seems to have sorted the login issue i was having as i have now logged in during the game and got the new .13.1 update.
