Seriously? So it's still complete crap to split compressed belts?daniel34 wrote:No.mooklepticon wrote:I can't find any confirmation that they got changed for 0.13? Someone mentioned that they had changed it, but I can't find hard evidence.

What do you expect from splitting compressed belts?Zeblote wrote:Seriously? Put iron plates on both sides and you will see what I mean.daniel34 wrote:What do you expect from splitting compressed belts?Zeblote wrote:Seriously? This is what it looks like in 0.12 and will look like in 0.13:
This happens to most splitters I place (or at the very least, much more often than chance would allow for). It eventually settles down and evens out but it can take a dozen or more on one side, followed by another dozen or so (though usually less than the first ones), and then just a few. Something like this would be common output on a single line, coming out of a splitter:Koub wrote:This
So, maybe... or maybe not, who knowsIn light of all this information, we are considering changing the way splitter works. Possibly by making have an internal state per transport belt lane instead of per item. It will split each lane of each belt equally to the output.
